Download Airy

There are two different things people mean by "download the app," and this page is honest about which one you're getting: a command-line tool you can install right now without an account, or the signed, double-click desktop installer, which requires signing in first.

Command line — works right now, no sign-in

Installs airy-manager, the CLI. This is a public download; nothing to authenticate.

One-line installers:

curl -fsSL https://www.airy.digital/install.sh | sh

macOS and Linux (Intel and Apple Silicon / ARM64 both auto-detected by the script itself).

macOS and Linux only (Intel and Apple Silicon / ARM64 both auto-detected by the script itself). There is no Windows one-line installer offered here — see below.

Or fetch a specific binary directly, no script:

These are the bare airy-manager binary for each platform — same file the installer scripts fetch and checksum, just without the script wrapper. Not a signed, double-click app installer; see below for that.

Windows is deliberately not listed here. The only public Windows binary this site can currently hand out (/manager/download/windows-*) is unsigned, which is exactly the artifact this page must not point strangers at (see the sign-in section below). Windows users get the real, signed installer after signing in.

The signed desktop app — requires sign-in

The notarized macOS .dmg and the signed Windows setup .exe — the installers you'd actually double-click.

This is a deliberate product decision, not a bug or an oversight: the signed installer is gated behind sign-in, and every unauthenticated request for it is refused outright — there is no version of this button that would work for a signed-out visitor, so we are not putting one here. What happens next is: you sign in at app.airy.digital, and it hands your already-authenticated session the real download.

There's no signed installer for Linux — only the command-line tool above is published for that platform.

Placeholder — not decided

Airy doesn't have a public Slack listing yet. This space is reserved for that invite link once one exists; nothing has been invented here to fill it. Justin decides what goes here.
